PARK CITY, Utah — Friday was the official unveiling of Park City’s Treasure Mountain Jr. High School’s Claw Machine, proudly built from the ground up by students themselves. Mr. Ben Meuller, the teacher lead for the Student Gaming Club, was the project supervisor for the game which now stands, ready for all students to play, in the foyer of the school.

The construction was completed by students from Ms. Gaudet’s Instructional Support class.

The artwork was completed by Ms. Chartier’s Digital Art: Photoshop class. The student body voted for the winning art designs.

Principal Fine told me, “The fun Claw Machine is just one of so many amazing things happening at TMJH.”

It runs on custom Mustang tokens.

Jeremiah Marsh, 9th grade, told me, On Friday, “I got a Carhart beanie hat on my first try. It was pretty cool.” Other prizes inside the machine include gum, Teck Deck finger-sized skateboards, Pop Its handheld fidget toys, Airpods, Pit Viper Sunglasses, and Skull Candy headphones.
